After Every Session

01
Rinse While Still Wet
Rinse both palms under lukewarm water immediately after use. Do this before the latex dries — dried mud is far harder to remove and damages the foam underneath.
↳ Do this pitch-side, not at home
02
Squeeze, Don’t Wring
Gently squeeze excess water from the latex. Never wring or twist — this tears the foam cells and permanently reduces grip. Press flat against a clean surface instead.
↳ Treat the latex like a sponge
03
Air Dry Naturally
Leave palms facing up in a cool, shaded spot. Never place on a radiator, in direct sunlight, or stuff back in your bag while still wet. Heat destroys latex fast.
↳ 2–4 hours at room temperature
04
Dampen Before Use
Before kick-off, lightly dampen the palms with water or breathe into them. Dry latex has minimal grip — moisture activates the latex and restores maximum stickiness instantly.
↳ A small spray bottle works perfectly
Never machine wash your gloves
Machine washing destroys the latex palm in a single cycle. The agitation and detergent permanently break down the foam cells. Hand wash only — cool water, no soap. Machine wash means new gloves.

Storage & Longevity

📦
Do
Use a glove bag
Store in a breathable glove bag. Keeps the shape, protects the latex, and stops fingers getting crushed inside your holdall.
🌡️
Avoid
Heat & Direct Sun
Car boots, sunny windowsills, radiators. High heat causes latex to crack and peel within days — even through the bag.
💧
Do
Keep Slightly Damp
Store with a slight residual dampness. Bone dry latex cracks over time. Not soaking — just not completely arid.
